On Thursday, October 15, Altius played host to some very special visitors – NERDs! No, not the usual space geeks that fill the offices at Altius, but the Noble Epic Robotic Determined Scholars (NERDS), a robotics club at Aurora Quest K-8. They came to visit for a tour of a real-life robotics company and for some feedback on their orbital debris removal spacecraft, as modeled in LEGOs.
As you may expect, the highlight of the tour for the students was seeing the Prospector robot – it looked like it could pick one of them up!
