President and CEO
Patrick Loner has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. He has over thirty years of experience leading technology development and deployment in the space and satellite sector. He holds twelve patents for direct to home video delivery, spot beam satellite design, adaptive satellite power control, adaptive modulation and coding in a satellite link and consumer receive terminal technologies.
Patrick has worked with nearly every major satellite provider including Boeing, Maxar Technologies, Thales Alenia Space, Airbus, Lockeed Martin and Northrop Grumman. He most recently served as the business development director for SEAKR Engineering, where he was responsible for driving the company’s efforts to progress from a digital processor provider to a full digital satellite payload provider. Patrick previously held positions with PinQuest Golf Systems, Facebook, Space Systems Loral, DIRECTV and Hughes Space and Communications Group.
Based near Boulder, Colorado, Altius is comprised of a talented team of engineers, physicists, roboticists, and space entrepreneurs, working together to design, manufacture, and test game-changing technologies for satellite, launch vehicle, and space facility customers.
